IT STARTS WITH A CONVERSATION

I am always fascinated when I notice objects that have accompanied people for many years – a jacket, a pair of shoes, a chair, or a bag. For me these pieces carry a particular energy. They feel like part of one’s identity – as if they were made to measure.

This fascination is the starting point of our Made to Measure program. Having developed more than 4,000 bags and accessories over time, the desire grew to take a step further: away from the serial, towards something individual – something that emerges through dialogue and is precisely tailored to you, your needs, and your personality.

This is how a unique piece comes into being – not only for eternity, but to carry your story and, over time, hopefully become a beloved object.

THE PATH TO YOUR UNIQUE PIECE

It starts with a personal conversation between you and me: What matters to you? For which occasions is the piece intended? What functions should it fulfill?

Based on the core form and design elements of PB 1, we define your format, proportions, and details such as the interior layout. We then create a sample in leather fiber material – a material very close to leather – and send it to you for review. Once you give your final approval, production begins.

Production time: approx. 6–8 weeks after approval
